WISBECH GRAMMAR SCHOOL SIXTH FORM PUPILS HAVE ‘A BALL’

Wisbech Grammar School 6th Form pupils enjoyed a stylish end to a very busy term at the Michaelmas Ball last night.

School blazers and ties were consigned to wardrobes at home as pupils donned dinner jackets and dresses for the glittering occasion which was held in the School’s multi-million pound refectory, Skelton Hall.

The event was organised by a committee of pupils who, with help from the Friends of Wisbech Grammar School, transformed Skelton Hall into a magical winter wonderland. Guests enjoyed drinks and canapés before a meal and dancing with music provided by Nightlife Entertainment.

Miss Kate Taylor, Deputy Head of 6th Form said: “The evening was an excellent way for pupils to celebrate the end of term and have an evening away from their A-level studies. The organising committee have done a fantastic job, especially Maddie Booth, Mollie Allen and Edward O’Connor who have put in a lot of thought, time and effort into making the event an evening to remember.”
