Richeldis France gains 'associate of Trinity College, London' status
At the end of Lent Term, Richeldis France (Upper 6th Form) was awarded a distinction in the Trinity College Diploma of Music.
For this, Richeldis performed a challenging programme of music on the flute, requiring many hours of practice. Richeldis is taught in school by our visiting flute teacher, Sarah Garford, and having taken her grade 8 flute two years ago, she was ready for a further challenge.
Richeldis is a strong presence in the Music Department: she currently plays in the Orchestra and Flute Ensemble, and as well as the flute is a high standard on the violin, piano and more recently the French Horn. Richeldis can now have the letters ATCL after her name – meaning she is an associate of Trinity College, London. This is a superb achievement from one of our very talented young musicians.
