On Friday 17 November, pupils across the School went on a fundraising spree in aid of Children in Need. Senior pupils dressed down in non-uniform with a donation each, and our Prep School pupils had a cookie baking contest and cake sale. The cookie baking contest was a tremendous success with judges Alison Sloan (Head of Food and Nutrition), Bradley Hutler and Lianne Goates all marking on taste and looks.
The decisions were very difficult. Everyone had baked superbly and we really struggled to choose the winners.
At the afternoon assembly, Mrs Sloan attended to talk with the children about the cookie competition and the excellent job done by everyone.
The whole day raised hundreds of pounds:
Senior School pupils raised £450.00 for their two charities
Prep pupils raised £394.98 for Children in Need.
Here is a brief video of the cookie competition.
