Cyrus Todiwala OBE DL, 2014 BBC Food Personality of the Year is coming to Wisbech Grammar School on Friday 3 November to cook a Parsee Menu. Cyrus was born and brought up in Bombay, having studied Hotel Administration and Food Technology in Bombay, Cyrus worked for the Taj Group. In 1991, Cyrus and his family moved to London where he opened Café Spice Namaste. Cyrus has become known for his refined, elegantly spiced and sophisticated cooking. He has cooked across the world for royalty, celebrities and presidents. Cyrus is passionate about promoting the hospitality industry and works hard to inspire future chefs. He is an advisor to a variety of food movements, is an honorary professor, has an honorary doctorate and is an ambassador for the Springboard charity. Cyrus has published five cookery books and appeared in the BBC series “The Incredible Spicemen”. He is a regular guest on Saturday Kitchen and On the BBC Radio 4 Food Programme. These are just some of the areas where Cyrus and his wife Pervin are involved, there is much more.
